LUXURY SERVICE AGREEMENT & RENTAL POLICY

1. Booking, Rates, and Minimums

  • Hourly Minimums: All standard hourly charters require a mandatory 3-hour minimum booking on weekdays and a 4-hour minimum on Fridays, Saturdays, and peak event seasons.
  • Grace Period: A 15-minute grace period is extended for point-to-point transfers. Overtime charges begin exactly 16 minutes past the scheduled drop-off or pickup time and are billed in 30-minute increments at the standard vehicle hourly rate.
  • Airport Transfers: Minimum airport transfer fee is $150.00 within city limits. Each trip will be quoted individually. All commercial airport pickups include a standard 30-minute wait time allowance for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights after the aircraft lands. Additional delay billing will apply if passenger tracking is disrupted by unreported flight changes.

2. Cancellations and Deposits

  • Reservation Deposit: A non-refundable 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the specific vehicle and date.
  • 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: Clients may cancel or modify reservations up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time without forfeiting the remaining 80% balance.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service time will result in a 100% charge of the total estimated booking fee.
  • Payment Clearing: Credit card payments processed securely through our merchant system typically require 2 to 3 business days to clear into our business accounts. Receipts are auto-generated and emailed immediately upon successful authorization.

3. Special Event Provisions (Weddings & Wine Tours)

  • Wedding Charters: Wedding itineraries must be finalized at least 72 hours before the event. Chauffeurs will arrive in formal attire, and the vehicle will be prepped with standard wedding staging amenities if requested. The company is not liable for itinerary delays caused by photography schedules or venue coordination issues.
  • Wine Tour Charters: Tasting room stops and regional tour routes must be submitted prior to departure. To ensure passenger safety and comply with local liability standards, passengers must adhere to all individual winery conduct and consumption rules. The chauffeur reserves the right to bypass a scheduled winery destination if passengers exhibit signs of extreme intoxication before arrival.

4. Alcohol, Illegal Substances, and Passenger Rules

  • Alcohol Consumption: In strict compliance with Michigan law, consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted inside the passenger cabin only if all passengers are of legal drinking age (21 years or older) and a structural physical barrier separates the driver's cockpit from the passenger compartment.
  • Underage Passengers: If any passenger under the age of 21 is present during a prom, homecoming, or youth event charter, absolutely no alcoholis allowed inside the vehicle, regardless of whether older adults are present.
  • Zero Tolerance: The use of any illegal substances, vaping, or smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited. The chauffeur reserves the definitive right to terminate the charter immediately without a refund if violations occur.

5. Vehicle Capacity and Compliance

  • Passenger Limits: Vehicles are strictly insured and licensed for a maximum capacity of 1 to 8 passengers depending on the specific model requested (e.g., Luxury SUV or Premium Sedan). Chauffeurs will not accept additional passengers beyond the legal seatbelt capacity under any circumstances.
  • Luggage Allocation: Luggage must fit entirely inside designated trunk spaces or rear cargo holds. Passenger cabin areas must remain clear of heavy cargo to ensure optimal emergency exit paths.
  • A six foot by twelve foot enclosed trailer can be rented for an additional $130.00 fee per trip for extra luggage, golf clubs and ski gear.

6. Cleaning, Damage, and Liability

  • Sanitation Fee: A minimum $250.00 cleaning and sanitation feewill be assessed immediately for any excessive spills, biological waste, or deep upholstery cleaning required after the charter.
  • Property Damage: The client assumes full financial responsibility for any physical damage caused to the vehicle by the passengers, including but not limited to broken glassware, torn upholstery, or damaged auxiliary electronics.
  • Lost Items: The service provider is not liable for personal items left behind in the vehicle during or after the conclusion of the trip. Chauffeurs inspect the cabins post-trip, and recovered items will be held at our central office.

7. Legal Non-Discrimination Clause

  • Equal Opportunity Service: This company provides transportation services to all individuals without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, height, weight, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity, in strict accordance with the Michigan Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act and federal civil rights laws.
  • Refusal of Service: Service will only be denied or terminated based on objective safety violations, disorderly or threatening behavior, or failure to comply with the operational safety parameters outlined in this agreement.
